Job summary

Omnicell is seeking Field Service Engineers to keep automated pharmacy and supply systems running in real‑world healthcare environments. You will diagnose, repair, and prevent downtime while partnering with nurses, pharmacists and hospital leadership.

You'll perform on-site troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and customer‑facing service while documenting activities and collaborating with internal teams to improve system performance and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Coursework or training in Network Engineering, Electronics, Robotics or related field.
• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electro‑mechanical, automation, and system issues onsite to restore functionality quickly and effectively.
• Perform preventive maintenance to optimize system performance and minimize downtime.
• Deliver exceptional service by building strong relationships with nursing, pharmacy and healthcare leaders.
• Manage service events by documenting repairs, escalations, and follow‑ups.
• Drive operational excellence by meeting SLAs, response times and customer satisfaction standards.
• Escalate and collaborate: identify product issues and escalate through proper channels.
• Inventory and logistics management: maintain trunk stock and ensure timely return of materials.
• Cross‑functional engagement to improve service delivery and product performance.
