Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Systems Support Engineer for onsite work at our Overland Park, KS area with potential Mesa, AZ travel. The role covers setup, support, and management of automation PCs, servers, and PLCs in our pharmacy fulfillment environments.

You will collaborate with pharmacy workers, IT teams and partners to upgrade software, patch systems, and install new equipment, while maintaining reliability and performance across the line.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2+ years in technology support or system management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (Domestic).
• Flexibility to work 40 hours on weekdays including possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up, support, and manage automation PCs, servers, and PLCs.
• Interface with pharmacy workers and stakeholders to communicate issue status.
• Coordinate software upgrades, patches, and new equipment.
• Collaborate with partner teams during installs and extended support.
• Debug PLCs, networking, and power I/O on the automation line.
• Use data analytics to troubleshoot and improve equipment performance.
