Job summary

CEdge Inc. is seeking a System Administrator at Scott AFB, IL to support DoD/Federal system operations. You will manage patching, upgrades, STIG checks, and security baselines across NIPR/SIPR environments while ensuring high availability and compliance.

The role requires experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), strong documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with clients onsite. Onsite delivery and security clearances are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal or DoD systems and secure operations.
• Proficient with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and incident response practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage OS patching, infrastructure upgrades, and STIG checklists.
• Maintain/update system architecture documentation (hardware lists, topology diagrams, DB design).
• Implement and maintain security baselines (NIST, CNSS, DISA STIG, USTRANSCOM) across environments.
• Ensure data protection and privacy compliance.
• Configure logging, auditing, distributed tracing, and runtime telemetry.
• Leverage Jira/Confluence for change control and backlog refinement.
