Job summary

CEdge Inc is seeking a System Administrator near Scott AFB, IL to support U.S. government and commercial clients. The role requires an active Secret Clearance, a Bachelor's degree, and 1–4 years of related experience in secure operations.

Objective:

Support the Clients system throughensuring secure, efficient, and scalable operations across NIPR and SIPRenvironments, maintaining high availability, compliance, and operationalresilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manageoperating system patching, infrastructure upgrades, and Security TechnicalImplementation Guide (STIG) checklists.
  
• Maintainand update system architecture documentation, including hardware lists,topology diagrams, and database design documents.
  
• Implementand maintain robust security baselines (NIST, CNSS, DISA STIG, USTRANSCOM)across all environments.
  
• Ensurecompliance and requirements for data protection and privacy.
  
• Configureand maintain security logging, structured auditing, distributed tracing,and runtime telemetry.
  
• Leveragemanagement tools (Jira, Confluence) for structured engineering changecontrol, backlog refinement, and workflow alignment.
  

Required Qualifications

• Experiencesupporting federal or DoD systems, including secure operations.

Mid Foundational with one of the following:

Education : Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or related STEM degree program.

Minimum experience : 1-4 years.
