Job summary

Employee Workplace in Lancaster, SC is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to own and maintain core IT infrastructure onsite. You will manage Windows Server, PowerShell automation, Veeam backups, Microsoft 365 and Azure, and virtualization during a VMware-to-Nutanix migration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar infrastructure role.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills, including writing, maintaining and troubleshooting scripts.
• Solid Windows Server administration experience, including automated patching and security updates.
• Hands-on Veeam administration and backup troubleshooting.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 and Azure administration experience.
• Virtualization experience with Nutanix, VMware, or both.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Windows Server environment.
• Maintain, improve and troubleshoot the PowerShell scripts used for monthly server patching and security updates.
• Own the Veeam backup environment, including monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Handle advanced administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• Assist in the migration from VMware to Nutanix and manage virtualization environments.
