Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking an IoT Product Engineer for our Syracuse, NY facility. This onsite role includes up to 25% travel and relocation assistance. You will contribute to requirements, design, and verification activities, delivering safe, compliant products on schedule.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science and at least 3 years in embedded/firmware development using C/C++ and Python. Strong collaboration and agile mindset are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of embedded product development and firmware/software development.
• Ability to travel up to 25% to support customer sites and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering and requirements management; document interfaces and traceability.
• Draft test plans, assist with tests, and analyze data for verification and validation.
• Support system integration and test engineering to verify end-to-end performance.
• Collaborate across Program Management, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain.
