Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an on-site Operations Quality Engineer I to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will support production activities, oversee processes, perform first article inspections, and help prepare for internal and external audits.

Qualified candidates have a STEM bachelor’s with 2 years in quality or operations engineering and the ability to obtain interim DoD clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. ATF clearance is also required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2 years in quality/engineering
• Must be able to obtain interim DoD and ATF clearances
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production activities in a machine shop and oversee manufacturing processes.
• Assist with manufacturing process oversight, first article inspections, and audits preparation.
