Job summary

GCON LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to manage high-tech office and data center projects. You will act as on-site point person and owner liaison, overseeing day-to-day operations and safety while driving continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of site management on commercial or data center builds, with experience leading build processes for high-tech clients and familiarity with Lean, Last Planner System, and schedule tooling like P6.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of relevant site management on ground-up commercial and/or data center projects.
• 3+ years leading build processes for high-tech clients with owner's rep experience.
• Experience designing systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program build-out for high-tech client office and data center fit-outs.
• Contribute to preconstruction phase, including buyout, logistics, and scheduling.
• Prepare operational plans and collaborate with BD on sales pursuits and presentations.
• Communicate the project plan’s success factors and implementation strategies.
• Reconcile WIP with trade contracts and submit timely payment requisitions.
• Demonstrate understanding of the Profit Plan and project financial forecast.
• Conduct Lean and Last Planner System boot camps on site.
• Establish weekly cadence of LPS and continuous improvement with staff and trade partners.
• Innovate construction solutions with project team and trade partners.
• Perform constructability reviews and QC program collaboration.
• Create and assess Weekly Work Plan and Pre-Task Plan for improvements.
• Enforce EH&S policies and ensure Injury Free Environments.
