Job summary

GCON is seeking a Project Manager to run high-tech programs and foster strong owner relations on on-site projects. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, manage program scope, and coordinate trade partners while upholding safety standards and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on PM experience with commercial and high-tech projects, strong administrative and technical skills, and a proven ability to build trusted relationships with owners, A/E teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial building/general contractor projects.
• 5+ years’ experience supporting the build process for high tech client programs.
• Experience with the design process of building systems for high tech projects.
• Working knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles.
• Proficient with MS Project and Primavera P6.
• Highly proficient with Procore and/or CMIC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program build-out for high tech client office and datacenter fit outs.
• Engage in preconstruction of project (e.g, estimating, buy out, logistics, scheduling, and pursuits).
• Support the operational plan and assist the Project Manager and BUL on new revenue pursuits and presentations.
• Support client relationships to help the PM and BUL grow business portfolio and profitability.
• Support oversight and coordination of contract staff (1099’s & consultants).
• Review and understand conceptual / schematic scope narratives, specifications, and drawings to provide constructability input.
• Support timely and effective project closeout, adhering to standards.
• Maintain engagement with trade partners, A/E team and client through accountability and collaboration.
