The Salvation Army Northwoods Camp in Finlayson, MN is seeking a Seasonal Healthcare Manager to ensure the health and safety of campers and staff. The role requires on-site residence during the summer, administering medical care, maintaining records, and supervising First Aid.

Compensation includes a weekly stipend and room and board. Responsibilities include camper health screenings, sanitation supervision, staff training, and ongoing health resource management.

Qualifications

• CPR, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications are required.
• Experience in the healthcare field is highly preferred; a healthcare degree or license (RN, paramedic, CNA, PCA) is also preferred.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Must pass background checks.
• Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and participate in religious activities.

Responsabilités

• Provide Healthcare (20%): Administer health care to campers and staff as needed.
• Program Participation (10%): Support and participate in camp programs and activities, including spiritual components.
• Health Resource Management (10%): Manage health resources, inventory, restock supplies, and coordinate orders.
• Medical Record Keeping (10%): Maintain accurate medical records for campers and staff.
• First Aid Oversight (10%): Oversee First Aid procedures and ensure supplies are available.
• Camper Health Screenings (10%): Conduct health screenings for all campers on arrival.
• Staff Training (5%): Train staff on health, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Sanitation Supervision (10%): Supervise sanitation to ensure health and safety.
• Relationship Building (5%): Build positive rapport with campers and colleagues.
