The Salvation Army Northwoods Camp in Finlayson, MN is seeking a Summer Camp Healthcare Manager to protect the health and safety of campers and staff. You will provide medical care, manage health resources, keep records, and oversee First Aid while living on-site during the summer.

Responsibilities include camper screenings, sanitation oversight, staff safety training, and active participation in camp activities.

Qualifikationen

• CPR, AED and Standard First Aid certifications are required.
• Healthcare experience is highly preferred.
• A healthcare degree such as Minnesota-licensed RN, paramedic, CNA, or PCA is preferred.
• Experience with children is preferred.
• Must pass background checks.
• Must have personal relationship with Jesus Christ and participate in religious activities.

Aufgaben

• Provide healthcare to campers and staff, consulting with a licensed medical professional as needed.
• Support and participate in camp programs and activities, including spiritual components.
• Organize and manage health resources, inventory, and restocking.
• Maintain accurate medical records for campers and staff.
• Oversee First Aid procedures and ensure supplies are available.
• Conduct health screenings for campers on arrival.
• Provide staff training on health, safety and emergency procedures.
• Supervise sanitation to ensure health and safety.
• Develop positive rapport with campers and colleagues.
