Job summary

The Salvation Army Northwoods Camp in Finlayson, MN, is seeking a Summer Camp Healthcare Manager to ensure the health and safety of campers aged 6 to 17 and staff. The role involves administering health care, managing medical resources, maintaining records, and supervising First Aid, with on-site residence required for the season.

This seasonal position runs from June 2027 to July 2027, offering a weekly stipend of $825–$850 for a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• CPR, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications are required.
• Experience in the healthcare field is preferred; healthcare degree is a plus.
• Must pass background checks and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare to campers and staff.
• Manage health resources, inventory, and restock supplies.
• Maintain medical records for campers and staff.
• Oversee First Aid procedures and safety.
• Conduct health screenings on arrival.
• Train staff on health, safety, and emergencies.
• Supervise sanitation to ensure safety.
• Build rapport with campers and staff.
