Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance is seeking an on-site electrical technician to perform testing, preventative maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs on electrical apparatus at customer facilities. You will read schematics, troubleshoot complex issues, and support substation equipment tests while adhering to safety standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred electrical tech education or military background and NETA II certification.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Bachelor’s/Associates in Electrical/Electronic Technology or military experience preferred.
• Ability to pursue NETA II certification.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical and electrical tasks on power transmission, distribution, and generation equipment at customer facilities.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics; troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean substation components; lead tests such as transformer, cable, and circuit breaker testing.
