Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. is hiring a Construction Manager for substation projects in a field role.

The position involves coordinating site safety, schedule adherence, cost control and quality across substations, with oversight from the Project Field Manager. Preferred candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering, 5+ years supervisory experience, OSHA training, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred, or relevant field experience.
• 5+ years construction supervisory experience required.
• OSHA Training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates compliance with schedule, safety, cost, and quality decisions with the Project Field Manager.
• Provides site teams with staffing, means, methods and supervision for substations.
• Develops and maintains construction procedures and quality programs for substation work.
• Supports subcontract development and risk reviews.
• Monitors productivity, progress, and costs and reports to leadership.
