TEKsystems is seeking an entry-level to mid-level installer in Cedar Rapids, IA to install and configure low-voltage telecom infrastructure. You will route and secure cabling, mount racks, and terminate devices per code.

The role is contract to hire with full onsite work and a comprehensive benefits package. Ideal candidates will read blueprints, have cable installation experience, and be comfortable working at heights.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing and terminating low-voltage telecom infrastructure.
• Ability to read blueprints and project docs.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure low-voltage telecommunications infrastructure including outlets and raceways.
• Build and outfit telecommunications closets with backboards, racks, and cross-connects.
• Terminate and test low-voltage devices and ensure code compliance.
