Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) seeks a Structural Engineer for the Y12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The role focuses on detailed design, field support, and coordination with project teams in a secure, regulated environment. Strong experience in structural analysis and drafting is required.

The position is fully onsite, with a 40-hour work week, Monday through Thursday. A U.S. citizenship and DOE Q security eligibility are required, with a PE license preferred and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
• Minimum 10 years' experience with emphasis on structural engineering.
• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for DOE Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality detailed design packages and provide field support.
• Lead multi-discipline tasks and coordinate with system engineers.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, specs, and design criteria.
• Perform site walkdowns and ensure construction compliance with design.
