Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leading the month-end close and preparing financial statements.
• Cost accounting experience and understanding of how labor, equipment, and overhead factor into cost of a job/manufacturing operation.
• Enjoy finding ways to improve processes and provide leadership greater visibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of two accounting professionals.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close across six operating brands.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and executive reporting.
• Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting in ERP.
• Oversee budgeting, cash flow, banking, and day-to-day financial operations.
• Analyze job costing and profitability to improve margins and business performance.
• Partner with production and estimating to strengthen costing and reporting.
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee audits, tax coordination, and external CPA relationships.
• Partner with ownership to support growth, profitability, and strategic decisions.
