Job summary

CFS is seeking an accomplished accounting leader to head the accounting function for a growing manufacturing organization in Indianapolis, IN. Qualifications

• Progressive accounting leadership experience (Controller/Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager).
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and the month-end close process.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and financial analyses.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while creating accountability within the department.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
• Partner with leadership and operational teams to drive financial performance and decision-making.
