Job summary

Jabil in Prince George, VA seeks a Quality Technician to support the startup of a new factory. You will perform inspections, verify assemblies meet specs, and document any nonconformances to ensure early quality control.

You will collect data, assist in corrective actions, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to enable a successful launch of large-form-factor equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in quality inspection/quality assurance in manufacturing.
• Experience inspecting industrial/electrical assemblies preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of assemblies and materials.
• Use calipers, micrometers and height gauges to verify specs.
• Ensure products meet drawings, instructions and quality standards.
• Document nonconformances and support containment actions.
• Collect quality data for trend and root cause analysis.
• Support startup activities and quality training for inspectors.
