Dexterity, an enterprise Physical AI company based in Redwood City, California, seeks a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, AP, payroll administration, and month-end close. The role partners with Finance, People, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely financial processing in a fast-paced environment.

The position is fully onsite in Redwood City, CA, with responsibilities spanning month-end close, AP, and payroll activities, requiring GAAP knowledge and strong analytical

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience, including AP, GL, and month-end close.
• Payroll experience preferred, with ADP knowledge.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience with a large ERP system (Netsuite or similar) and ADP Workforce Now highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Process accounts payable and vendor invoices with high accuracy and 3-way matching.
• Process biweekly payroll using ADP and verify timesheets, deductions, and adjustments.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist in monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Collaborate with Finance, People, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial operations and 1099 reporting.
