Job summary

Leoforce in Spring, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations across multiple business lines. This mid-level role offers hands-on involvement in general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting, with a path to deeper ownership.

You will work onsite at our HVAC client’s North Houston area with a collaborative team, learn established processes during a transition, and join a company that values accuracy, accountability, and steady growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
• Experience with account reconciliations, general ledger activity, and routine accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support accounting operations across multiple business lines, including residential service, new construction, custom home installations, and membership programs.
• Maintain and review financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and other routine accounting functions.
• Support financial reporting and provide information that helps leadership evaluate business performance.
• Assist with tracking and reviewing job costs, project expenses, and other financial activity as applicable.
• Work with leadership to identify discrepancies, address accounting questions, and maintain reliable financial information.
• Learn existing accounting processes and systems during the transition period and assume responsibility for assigned duties.
• Maintain organized documentation and follow established accounting procedures.
• Contribute to an efficient, collaborative work environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
