Job summary

Catalent Greendale, IN is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team. You will assist with vendor invoice processing, billing, and reconciliations, helping ensure accurate financial reporting and GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum one year of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0–15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Support customer billing, cash applications, and collections activities.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable subledgers to the general ledger.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing schedules, samples, and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
