Job summary

Catalent’s Greendale, Indiana site seeks a Controller to lead financial operations with precision and integrity. This role ensures accurate reporting, GAAP compliance, and strong internal controls across monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.

The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional leaders to drive performance, provide analytical insights, and support strategic decisions in a fast-paced onsite environment at Greendale.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Seven years of progressive accounting experience, including management.
• Expert knowledge in US GAAP with a consultative but results-oriented approach.
• Leadership experience (Catalent programs may substitute external experience).
• Mentally strong to challenge assumptions and handle complex financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Manage internal and external audit processes, including schedules and auditor inquiries.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
• Monitor budget and forecast vs. actual, with variance analysis.
• Partner with department leaders to support financial decision-making and efficiency.
• Provide analytical insights to support strategy, cost control, and profitability initiatives.
