Job summary

Ortho Molecular Products seeks a Staff Accountant to support the Assistant Controller in accounting operations, ensuring accurate records, strong internal controls, and timely financial reporting. This full-time, on-site role at the Barrington, IL corporate office supports the month-end close and tax prep.

You will work with Dynamics 365, Concur, Avalara, and Softco, handle fixed assets, and contribute to audits. Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 3–5 years’ manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; 3–5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with GAAP and financial accounting concepts.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Readies and maintains financial transactions in line with accounting principles.
• Assists with Fixed Assets, depreciation schedules, and journal entries.
• Contributes to the 'Fast Close' process with reconciliations and reporting.
