Job summary

AndHealth seeks a Specialty Patient Engagement Specialist (Pharmacy Technician) for an onsite role at our Health Center partner site in Illinois. You will process prescriptions, verify benefits, and coordinate with providers to ensure access to specialty medications and adherence support.

The role requires IL-licensed pharmacy tech with 3+ years' experience, BLS, HIPAA compliance, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred. On-site and potential remote support flexibility offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• BLS certification obtained or willing to obtain.
• IL Pharmacy Technician license required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Willing to obtain multi-state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions accurately in the pharmacy system.
• Verify benefits and enroll patients in copay cards or assistance programs.
• Collaborate with providers to address formulary and prior authorizations.
• Communicate with patients about medication utilization and scheduling deliveries.
• Document all patient interactions in the pharmacy software.
