Job summary

University of Chicago Medicine is seeking a Special Procedures Nurse for the Oncology Rapid Assessment Clinic in Hyde Park. This 100% onsite role requires you to base in the greater Chicagoland area and perform high-risk nursing care including sedation and IV infusions.

Under supervision of physicians, you will assess patients, document encounters, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, safe care while adhering to HIPAA and AIDET principles.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred; must enroll in BSN within 6–9 months and complete within 30 months.
• On-site role at Hyde Park, Chicago area.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-risk nursing care, including sedation and IV infusions.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety according to protocols.
