UChicago Medicine is seeking a Special Procedures Nurse for the Oncology Rapid Assessment Clinic (ORAC) in Hyde Park. This 100% onsite role requires a driven RN based in the Chicagoland area, working 7p–7a on a 0.9 FTE schedule.

You will deliver high-risk nursing care, including sedation and infusion therapy, under physician direction, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate holds an ADN (BSN preferred), active Illinois RN license, and current CPR/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Requires ADN; BSN preferred and progression toward BSN.
• Illinois RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR, ACLS, and/or PALS certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-risk nursing care including sedation under physician guidance.
• Monitor patients during procedures and recovery.
• Maintain nursing equipment and work areas in proper working order and assure safety.
• Document assessments and coordinate with multidisciplinary team to support patient care.
