Job summary

SMA America is seeking a dedicated Service Engineer based in Needville, TX. This full-time, onsite position involves responsibilities such as maintaining and troubleshooting utility and commercial inverters and PV Solar equipment at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in PV Solar or O&M.
• 3+ years experience in electrical, electronic, or network communications.
• California Electrical License or Electrical Contractors license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain utility and commercial inverters and PV Solar equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair inverters in the field.
• Perform DC tracker system maintenance and inverter operations.

Skills

Experience in PV Solar

Electrical and electronic background

Verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Education

Associate's degree or equivalent experience

Tools

Forklift experience
