Raytheon Technologies, based in Tewksbury, MA, is seeking an experienced test engineer to lead testing efforts for a functional area onsite. You will create test plans, mentor junior engineers, and work across teams to ensure high-quality software delivery within a DoD-aligned program requiring an interim secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience.
• Proven leadership in a testing environment; can create test plans and lead technical teams.
• Extensive experience in software engineering, validation, verification, and requirements analysis.
• Ability to obtain interim secret U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Lead testing activities for a functional area to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive test plans with strategies, objectives, and timelines.
• Mentor junior engineers, share expertise, and foster continuous learning.
• Partner with developers, system architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Regularly report progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
• Analyze and verify software requirements for clarity and testability.
• Define clear objectives to guide testing coverage.
• Design and run manual and automated test cases in the on-site lab.
• Analyze results, identify discrepancies, and document findings and fixes.
• Occasionally test during second/third shifts as needed.
