Job summary

Boeing in Berkeley, MO seeks a Site Reliability Engineer (Associate/Experienced/Senior) to own and improve mission-critical developer platforms. You will operate GitLab, Jira/Confluence, PostgreSQL, and related tools, driving reliability and automation across the CI/CD stack.

Role requires collaboration with cybersecurity, infra teams, and program stakeholders, plus incident response and data-driven reliability improvements. Onsite role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• 2+ years software development or troubleshooting experience.
• 2+ years Git-based workflows experience.
• 2+ years software development in cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain GitLab, Jira, Confluence, PostgreSQL and related tools.
• Support runner registration, health checks, queue troubleshooting, KPI reporting.
• Manage tool administration, upgrades, patching, and integration between Jira, GitLab, Artifactory, Confluence, and SonarQube.
• Own platform reliability, availability, performance, capacity, backup, recover.
• Develop IaC and automation for provisioning and scaling with Ansible.
• Plan changes, upgrades, security patches, maintenance.
• Monitor metrics and support incident response; after-hours on-call as needed.
• Collaborate with developers, admins, security, and program stakeholders.
