Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in New Stanton, PA is seeking a Shop Technician II, Repair to evaluate and repair electrical assemblies and PCBs for repair and refurbishment. You will follow standard procedures and work under supervision, reporting to the Assistant Area Manager, I&C Operations, on site five days a week.

The role requires the ability to read electrical drawings, perform soldering and wiring tasks, and operate test equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/equivalent.
• 1+ years relevant electrical and PCB experience.
• Nuclear industry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend semi-complex mechanical and/or electrical drawings, codes, schematics, manuals, blueprints and procedures, and record data.
• Apply knowledge of electrical equipment, soldering skills, hand and power tool usage.
• Install components, units, subassemblies and wiring.
• Operate electrical/electronic test equipment.
