Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking an Import/Export Coordinator / Shipping Coordinator to prepare, document, and coordinate shipments for a biotechnology client in Massachusetts. The role ensures compliance with customs, export requirements, and transportation standards, supporting timely delivery and accurate records onsite in Tewksbury.

You will work with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams, maintain shipping documentation, and assist warehouse activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of domestic and international shipping experience.
• Knowledge of export documentation and HS/HTS codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process domestic and international shipments.
• Create and verify export documents (invoices, packing lists, origin certificates).
• Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs laws, and shipping requirements.
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal departments.
• Schedule pickups and track shipments for on-time delivery.
• Maintain export records and shipping documentation.
• Use shipping software and ERP systems to process orders.
• Assist with warehouse and inventory activities.
• Maintain safe, organized shipping areas.
