Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Service Technician for our Fall River, MA location to join the Commercial Laundry service organization. The role is onsite and focuses on customer inquiries, electro-mechanical troubleshooting, and field support.

Expect 0-5% travel after training and a strong emphasis on customer service and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of appliance or mechanical technician experience, High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to work

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of appliance or mechanical technician experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as inside service expert for product and customer liaison.
• Guide, inform and troubleshoot trade customers service needs; collaborate with factory and engineering as needed.
• Initiate field feedback from customers to direct project plans for new and existing products.
• Be a SPOC (single point of contact) for 20-25 small accounts and support their needs from a service perspective.
• Travel approximately 5% of the time.
