Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Fall River, MA is seeking a Service Technician to join our Commercial Laundry service organization onsite. You will assist customers with inquiries, electro-mechanical troubleshooting, and field support, spending most time at the office and working from home after training.

The role requires acting as inside service expert, supporting 20-25 small accounts, and collaborating with factory/engineering teams. A travel requirement of about 5% is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in appliance or mechanical technician work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as inside service expert for product and customer liaison.
• Guide, inform and troubleshoot trade customers service needs with cross-functional teams.
• Initiate field feedback from customers to direct project plans for new and existing products.
• Be a SPOC (single point of contact) for 20-25 small accounts and support their needs from a service perspective.
• Travel approximately 5% of the time.
