Job summary

WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems is seeking a Service Technician to repair washers and dryers at customer locations within their assigned region. The role emphasizes independent work, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to customer care and quality service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of mechanical experience, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to lift heavy parts. Training and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good driving record.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Must possess effective English communication skills (oral and written); bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish) are desirable.
• At least 2 years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge and/or training.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck.
• Prior washer/dryer repair experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
• Disassemble machines and examine mechanical and electrical parts
• Reassemble appliances, adjust pulleys, and lubricate moving parts
• Replace worn or defective parts and adjust motors
• Clean and wash parts
• Advise dispatch department of equipment that should be replaced with new equipment
• Drive a company vehicle to and from work locations
