Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking an On-Site Service Specialist level 1 in Wisconsin. The role delivers exceptional customer service and manages MSC ControlPoint solutions, including VMI and storeroom programs, at large customer locations.

You will support procurement, order placement, and solution optimization while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive value and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of experience in telephone sales, outside sales, storeroom/inventory management, or customer service.
• Knowledge of MSC solutions, products, and services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage MSC ControlPoint Solutions, including VMI, vending, and storeroom programs.
• Perform ordering, product put-away, and inventory optimization.
• Promote MSC customer loyalty through solution support and CARE program execution.
• Maintain 6S standards across all solution equipment and areas.
• Log daily activities in Salesforce (SFDC).
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure solution retention and satisfaction.
