Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Solutions Service Specialist to manage customer inventory at designated sites, including product put-away, replenishment of VMI and vending solutions, and Lean (6S) practices to ensure high satisfaction.

The role collaborates with Sales and Business Development to drive retention and incremental revenue while learning systems like SAP, AS400, Salesforce, and Tableau. This full-time position is based in Manitowoc, WI and requires strong customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Experience in customer engagement within service, telesales, or inventory roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock levels (min/max) to meet demand.
• Receive, unpack, and put away products at solution points.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on solution equipment.
• Log daily account activities with routing software.
• Learn SAP, AS400, ASI, Vending Portal, Salesforce, Tableau.
• Build relationships with customer contacts to ensure retention.
• Drive product expansion through spot buys and incremental solutions.
• Promote MSC CARE program and maintain 6S standards.
• Adhere to safety and compliance protocols.
• Operate and maintain company vehicle per Fleet Policy.
