Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a Senior Scheduler to lead and refine project schedules for complex construction initiatives. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and analyzing schedules, coordinating with project managers and stakeholders, and driving on-time delivery across multiple departments.

This onsite position requires strong analytical abilities, advanced scheduling tools proficiency, and a track record of managing schedules in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
• 7+ years combined experience in scheduling, construction, engineering, etc.
• Proven experience in project scheduling, preferably in a senior or lead role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, incorporating all relevant tasks, milestones, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for scheduling purposes.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential scheduling conflicts or delays, proposing solutions to mitigate risks.
• Implement best practices for schedule optimization, resource leveling, and critical path analysis.
• Communicate schedule updates and changes to relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Provide regular reports on project schedule performance, highlighting areas of concern and proposing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Mentor and train junior schedulers on scheduling techniques and software usage.
