Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company in Childress, TX seeks a Project Scheduling Manager to lead the on-site scheduling effort for a hyper-scaled data center construction project. You will work with site leadership and cross-functional teams to develop, update, and communicate schedules throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include facilitating schedule meetings, building detailed schedules from drawings, tracking progress, and guiding the team on scheduling best practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent degree/certification and/or equivalent related work experience in data management required.
• Educational background in materials and methods of construction.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ construction project scheduling experience is required.
• Extensive experience with large industrial and hi-tech fabrication projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team through the schedule development process from project initiation to closeout.
• Facilitate schedule meetings and team schedule reviews.
• Build schedule detail based on drawings and models with input from the project team.
• Collect and input status updates.
• Observe the jobsite to verify field progress.
• Identify changes to the project schedule and notify the team of impacts to critical path activities.
• Ensure technical schedule integrity is maintained.
• Produce and distribute weekly schedules, forecasts, and reports.
• Analyze schedule variances and support closure of time disputes.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentoring on scheduling best practices.
• Bi-weekly meetings with scheduling team members to discuss needs and training opportunities.
