Job summary

Leon Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Title Paralegal to support a boutique law firm’s real estate and lending practice in Coral Gables, FL. This onsite role covers file intake, closing coordination, and post-closing activities from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of closing experience, strong title processing skills, and fluent English and Spanish, with proficiency in First American AgentNet, Qualia, and related software.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of title and real estate closing experience.
• Experience managing the complete transaction lifecycle from file opening to policy issuance and post-closing.
• Strong transactional real estate background with both commercial and residential experience.
• Familiarity with title commitments, exceptions, underlying documents, surveys, and closing requirements.
• Experience coordinating title requirements with lenders and understanding Florida contract forms.
• Proficiency with software used in title work (First American AgentNet, Qualia, Clio, etc.).
• Fluent in English and Spanish to communicate with clients and parties.

Responsibilities

• File intake and transaction management from initial file to closing and post-closing.
• Attend title processing and closing preparation, including reviewing title commitments and curing defects.
• Prepare and coordinate settlement statements and closing packages for disbursement.
• Coordinate with title underwriters, lenders, and participants to resolve outstanding requirements.
• Assist with offsite closings as needed and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Organize and maintain closing checklists and transaction files.
