Job summary

Thomson Power Systems, a Regal Rexnord company, seeks an experienced Project Manager in Arlington, TX to lead electrical projects onsite five days per week. You will manage scope, cost, and schedules while coordinating with sales, engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure contractual adherence and successful project close-out.

Requirements include a 10+ year background in electrical power distribution, 5+ years PM experience, a BSEE, and strong proficiency with SAP, MS Project,

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive experience in electrical power distribution, engineering, project management, manufacturing, contracting, or related field, ideally within North America.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with ownership of scope, cost, schedules, vendors, subcontractors, and customer commitments.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electrical power distribution, with hands-on exposure to low/medium voltage switchgear, switchboards, power distribution units, or automatic transfer switches.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience with modular/ePOD products is preferred but not required.
• Experience managing complex, long-cycle projects with multiple stakeholders (data center, construction, manufacturing, engineer-to-order, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams.
• Knowledge of ERP/project management systems, including SAP, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Ensure project execution aligns with contractual requirements and internal guidelines.
• Oversee project financials including invoicing, cost tracking, expenses, and cash flow.
• Drive formal project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, production, supply chain, warehouse and trade compliance.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to project management best practices.
