Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Co in Newington, NH, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead manufacturing projects from contract award to delivery, reporting to the Engineering Manager and working onsite. You will collaborate with supply chain, project controls, design, and quality engineering to ensure fabrication, machining, and inspection meet contract requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to welding, machining, and NDT.
Proficiency in CAD software.
Interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T.

Responsibilities

Interpret purchase orders, specifications, and engineering drawings to define manufacturing processes.
Develop and issue purchase requisitions for raw materials, components, and services following contract requirements.
Create detailed manufacturing flow charts and support project controls in developing production schedules.
Prepare shop travelers to guide fabrication, machining, and inspection operations.
Partner with operations teams on fixture design and process optimization.
Lead pre-job briefings for critical manufacturing tasks.
Investigate and resolve non-conformances in collaboration with our teams and external customers.
Provide on-the-floor technical support to operations, ensuring resolution of issues.
