Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Newington, NH is seeking a Project Engineer to lead fabrication, machining and inspection activities from contract award through final delivery. You will collaborate with supply chain, project controls, design and quality engineering to ensure successful execution and on-time delivery.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will interpret drawings (GD&T), manage materials, create flow charts and shop travelers, and support on-the-floor technical issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings including GD&T.
• Familiarity with CNC machining, welding, inspection, and NDE.

Responsibilities

• Interpret purchase orders, specifications, and drawings to define manufacturing processes.
• Develop and issue purchase requisitions for materials.
• Create manufacturing flow charts and support production scheduling.
• Prepare shop travelers for fabrication, machining, and inspection.
• Partner with operations on fixture design and process optimization.
• Lead pre-job briefings on critical tasks.
• Investigate non-conformances with teams and customers.
• Provide on-the-floor technical support to operations.
