Job summary

Heartland Food Products Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide technical support for manufacturing and process systems, driving improvements in OEE and operational excellence.

You will partner with quality and engineering to design and execute capacity, process and cost projects, develop SOPs, train staff, and lead root cause analysis to reduce variation and cost.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a food-grade environment (FDA, GMP, HACCP) with high-speed packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for manufacturing and process systems to improve OEE and efficiency.
• Specify, design, and execute projects focused on capacity, process, and cost improvements.
• Develop and implement SOPs to improve product quality and yield.
• Train and certify manufacturing personnel on new lines.
• Lead root cause analysis and CAPA for process issues.
