Job summary

Woocheen, LLC is seeking a Senior Power Engineer to lead transmission and distribution initiatives on an onsite assignment in Coolidge, Arizona. The role supports SCIP Power Program operations delivering power to roughly 13,000 customers across multiple counties.

Responsibilities include distribution feeder design, adherence to NESC and utility standards, project scheduling, cost proposals, QA/QC, and field inspections. Requires ABET-accredited degree, P.E.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Evidence of obtaining professional engineering licensure (P.E.) in any state.
• At least 10 years of experience with Power Utilities.
• Experience directing work of a multi-disciplinary technical team.
• Experience with industry design standards for power utilities.

Responsibilities

• Distribution equipment installation, feeder replacement, and new feeder design.
• Review cable pulling, voltage drop, and pole loading calculations.
• Lead field inspections for overhead and underground facilities.
• Prepare and present technical reports for clients and industry publications.
• Build relationships and identify new business opportunities; ensure customer satisfaction.
