Weir Minerals in West Valley City, UT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of complex engineering and new product development initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and manage scope, schedule, budgets, and risks.

You will also report to PMO governance, drive process improvements, and ensure safety while delivering results that support our sustainable mining technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, including new product development
• Strong technical aptitude to understand engineering concepts and collaborate with technical teams
• High emotional intelligence and leadership to guide cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Proven ability to set expectations, hold teams accountable, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of complex engineering and new product development projects, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk
• Act as a liaison between engineering, product, operations, and supply chain; drive meetings and actions
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, budgets, and risk assessments; report to leadership and PMO governance
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and champion disciplined practices
• Demonstrate 100% commitment to safety and a world-class safety culture
