Job summary

Leading Healthcare Company seeks a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor—High Complexity Molecular Diagnostics for a full-time, onsite role in Virginia. You will oversee daily lab operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality control across testing workflows.

You will lead and mentor staff, coordinate with departments, and maintain compliant protocols while managing equipment and inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a high-complexity clinical laboratory setting.
• MT/CLS certification by ASCP or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of molecular diagnostic testing and methodologies.
• Understanding of CLIA, CAP, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership, mentorship, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with LIS and data management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supervise personnel to ensure accurate and timely testing of patient samples.
• Implement and monitor quality control programs for test accuracy.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff for performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflows and efficiency.
• Develop and revise laboratory protocols and procedures.
• Participate in hiring and performance evaluations for staff.
• Manage laboratory inventory and equipment calibration.
