We are seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor specializing in High Complexity Molecular Diagnostics to join our team on a full-time, onsite basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular diagnostic procedures and a proven track record in laboratory supervision. This role is critical to ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our laboratory operations.

Job Responsibilities

As a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your duties will include:

Supervising and coordinating the activities of laboratory personnel to ensure accurate and timely testing of patient samples.

Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, including CLIA, CAP, and other relevant guidelines.

Implementing and monitoring quality control programs to maintain the integrity and accuracy of test results.

Training, mentoring, and evaluating laboratory staff to foster professional development and maintain a high level of performance.

Collaborating with other departments to optimize laboratory workflows and improve operational efficiencies.

Developing and revising laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure best practices are followed.

Participating in the hiring process for new laboratory personnel and conducting performance evaluations.

Managing laboratory inventory and ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-complexity clinical laboratory setting

Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) by ASCP or equivalent preferred.

Strong knowledge and experience in high complexity molecular diagnostic testing and methodologies preferred.

Thorough understanding of CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory requirements for high complexity laboratories.

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of laboratory professionals.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and other departments.

Proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS) and data management.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
