Qualifications

• 4–5 years of direct IT support experience, preferably in a law firm.
• 4–5 years+ configuring, installing and maintaining PC OS and hardware.
• Knowledge of telecom systems and A/V equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Discretion with confidential information and good judgment.
• Professional interaction with all levels and departments.
• Ability to self-direct and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and white glove service mindset.
• Flexible to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support IT functions in the New York office, including infrastructure, devices, printers, A/V, telephones, and mobiles.
• Provide high-level, white-glove service to all end-users in Houston, including VIPs.
• Deliver reports on IT service issues to Global IT leaders and the Director of Administration.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure secure, reliable IT experiences.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, AV, and telephony issues promptly.
• Keep up-to-date with IT developments and trends.
• Maintain accurate Service Desk records and assist teams with documentation.
• Create and review knowledge base articles and departmental docs.
• Participate in local/global team meetings; plan and execute equipment installs and office moves.
• Help manage inventories of laptops, desktops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Set up and troubleshoot AV for meetings and events; support off-site setups.
• Coordinate with 3rd level support for escalated issues.
• Possess schedule flexibility for shifts during business hours and after-hours/weekends.
