Job summary
Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer for our Philips site in Latham, NY. You will ensure HVAC systems operate safely and reliably, lead preventive maintenance, and mentor junior technicians.
The role focuses on multi-craft expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, with strong safety and regulatory compliance, and collaboration with vendors to deliver high-quality maintenance in a dynamic commercial environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in HVAC operations, maintenance, troubleshooting in a commercial/industrial setting.
- HVAC credentials such as EPA 608 or equivalent trade license.
- Multi-craft skills covering mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems to ensure peak performance and compliance.
- Perform maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, fire/life safety, and control systems.
- Lead preventative maintenance programs with emphasis on HVAC.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely maintenance work.
